This policy explains what personal data Flow with Veda collects when you use flowwithveda.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We are based in the European Union, so this policy is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible for your data

What we collect and why

• Your email address. So we can send you the dosha reading you asked for. Legal basis: performance of the service you requested.
• Your quiz answers and dosha result. To calculate and present your reading. These are processed in your browser; your result is stored locally on your device and, with your reading, sent by email. Legal basis: performance of the service you requested.
• Marketing preference. If, and only if, you tick the optional box, we add your email to our newsletter list for occasional Ayurvedic practices and offers. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Purchase information. If you buy a guide, our payment provider processes your payment and billing details. We do not see or store your full card details. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Basic usage events. We record anonymous interaction events (for example, which screens were viewed) to understand and improve the funnel. Today these are stored only in your own browser. If we later send them to an analytics service, we will update this policy first. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the product.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the site, acting as our processors:

• Stripe for payment processing.
• Resend for sending your reading and any newsletter emails.
• Vercel for hosting the website.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your email for as long as you are subscribed or as needed to provide your reading and any purchase. If you unsubscribe or ask us to erase your data, we remove it promptly, except where we must keep certain records (for example, purchase records for tax purposes) for as long as the law requires.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage to remember your reading and record the anonymous usage events described above. You can clear this at any time from your browser settings.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Every marketing email also includes a one-click unsubscribe. To exercise any of these, email hello@flowwithveda.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
